About Cultura Fest
Founded by Ricardo Archila, a first-generation U.S.-born Salvadoran, realtor, and community advocate, Cultura Fest was born from a search for identity—a desire to reconnect with cultural roots while embracing life in America. Ricardo learned that many communities share this journey, navigating heritage, identity, healing, and belonging.
Cultura Fest celebrates all diasporic cultures, with a special focus on Salvadoran and Central American experiences, giving artists and creators a platform to share their stories, traditions, and creativity.
Celebrations include:
-
Visual Art Exhibitions – contemporary and heritage-inspired works.
-
Performances – music, dance, spoken word, and comedy from diverse cultures.
-
Cultural Storytelling – films, installations, and presentations exploring journeys of belonging, community, and healing.
-
Education, Collaboration, and Free Community Events – opportunities for learning, connection, and celebration.
Cultura Fest embodies the “Hybrid Heart”—the experience of living between worlds, where tradition meets innovation, past stories merge with future visions, and every culture has a space to be seen, celebrated, and shared. It highlights the richness of diasporic life and fosters cross-cultural understanding, healing, and pride—an inclusive space for everyone to connect, learn, and celebrate.
